What's new on Bview?

Wondering why I haven't updated anything in 5 days?  Thinking I dropped off the face of the planet and gave up on my little site? THINK AGAIN!! In celebration of writing my 25th Bview I bought Bview I home of it's own. So now Bviews will be hosted on www.moviebviews.com so check it out there!!! I'm rebuilding the site from scratch which is a very lengthy process, but one that I am enjoying.  Still, it's going to take a lot of time for me to transfer all of the content over. I'll be rewriting a lot of the content (not the Bviews, but the articles and F.A.Q. etc) and I've already created a new look to the site.  I hope you enjoy!!  There will be much more to come there, I promise!!

During this process I will still be writing 1-3 new Bviews a week (yes, I am that awesome), but those Bviews will only be posted on the new site. So start going there for your new fix, I already have one posted there and that's Behind the Mask: the Rise of Leslie Vernon so go check it out and enjoy!!

So, it's not set up yet, but www.moviebviews.com has been purchased!!! How exciting is that? Over the next week or so I'll be moving everything over to that site and hopefully updating the look of my dear old site a bit, too. try and work it closer and closer towards it's "final" format. I put the final in quotes because I'm sure with time I'll make more and more adjustments to the site.

In the mean time? Enjoy the 25th Bview written by our one and only Rizzy (that's me).  What did she do? She did But I'm a Cheerleader. I can't wait to do more Bviews!! Hitting 25 made me all the more excited to hit 50 and 100!!

It's been a busy week at work and at home so I haven't gotten up a new Bview till tonight.  I did get a drinking game made for it to!! It's Death to Smoochy, so go check it out, it's one of my very favorites!! Also, I've booked my tickets to California!! We've got so much stuff planned for that trip, it's going to be amazing!  I can't wait till we go! I have today off so hopefully I'll get more done later on this site! I know I want to redo the look of this main page here. That's a big project though and I'm not entirely sure I'm ready for that. So I might just put out a few more Bviews instead.

Ok, so I updated the Australian Donation page again, because I have $1,500 saved now!! Holy bejeebus, batman! I also did a bit more tweaking on some of the other stuff on the site, but nothing too exciting besides maybe getting getting the Bviewers page layout a little closer to final. Most of it was in the way that the website was set up... so if you had things bookmarked, they might not be in the same place that they were before, I'm sorry for that.  Also, I wrote another Bview!!  This time on a great little film about Nazis and the occult called Unholy so go check it out! I've got some more exciting ideas for the future of this site lately too, so I guess we'll see how it all pans out!

So, do yourself a favor and go check out Rizview and all the sites that have material that I wrote for the site under my name and not just for the generic site. How cool is that? Yeah, pretty nifty, right? I've got lots more to talk about/put up here over the next how every quickly I can get it up or so, but that's a taste of what i want to do with the site, I hope you enjoy!!

So, once again, I've been a busy little girl and I've gotten a bunch of content up over the last few days. I updated my Australia donations page a bit, so now you can see I have over $1k saved (if only by a few pennies).  I also added a few new drinking games so you can go check that out, I'm trying to put up more and more of them since I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on the ones I do have up. Also, I did two new Bviews, one on Eragon (which is a fantasy film about dragon riders) and a movie called Night Junkies (a vampire film that looks at vampires as blood junkies).

I'm going to start drawing more soon.  I'm hoping to update the look of the site a little bit, specifically the main page here.  I'd love for this page to have a more solid look to it and possibly even be done by PHP.  I haven't decided yet, but I'm working on it. I'd love for more drawings to be shown on the site, possibly have characters drawn for every Bviewer who hits 5 Bviews (which is still only me, for the record).  I want to find some kind of bonus system for people who write a lot of Bviews. Nothing too amazing, but maybe a drawing of them to represent them on the site after 5 and their character in the logo when they hit 25 or something. It's hard to say, I guess that will come with time.  I'm also thinking of selling shirts online from the site with catch phrases, some of my drawings, etc.  All of this is a lot of work and a lot of work that I don't want to let my main theme of the site (the Bviews) suffer to do.  So I'm sure those things will all take a lot of time, but I'm just trying to let you know what to look forward for from this site. If I do make shirts, I thought I could give away merchandice to people who did Bviews, too, like once you hit 50 or something you get a free t-shirt with your character on it.  Any ideas would be great! Hey, hey, hey! I've been doing pretty good lately with keeping this site updated often, which I love.  I have two more Bviews for you today. One of the 8 films to Die For: Unrest and one of my favorite films that was ever given to me: Cube. So, read up and enjoy!  I'm going to take a few day break now to work on the novel, but I hope to do a few more Bviews in the next week, so don't give up hope, I'll be updating again soon!

Ok, so I got up another Bview, this time on the movie Shadow Puppets that I rented the other night, it was bad enough that I made a drinking game for it, too. It's been brought to my attention that the drinking games are really a big draw for the site and so I'm hoping to write more of them...  They are easy enough to write, after all.  I'm also working on going through all the films and giving them a year, too.  Since a lot of the movies I'm doing are either remakes or have been remade.  Plus, giving them a year is a nice reference for a lot of peole who like classics vs. newer films.

In an attempt to make up for over a month with no new content, I've put up a 3rd Bview in 2 days... this one? Sleepaway Camp 2!! One of my favorite Slasher films.  I also watched another movie tonight that I'll hopefully get a chance to Bview tomorrow.

Yeah, it's been over a month since I've updated this, I know.  I'm going to try get a few more out before I get another 2nd job.  It's been some crazy times, I'll just say that much, but I did write a new Bview, this time on 28 Days Later, not my best... I'm a little bit rusty.

Yeah, I know, it's been awhile since my last update.  I've been trying to figure stuff out though. I think I've got a better grasp on a lot of stuff in my life and needed the personal clearance time to really be able to work creatively again.  Thanks everyone for your patience in my lack of updates though!! I promise I'm going to try do at least one Bview a week now... it's hard though, cause with each one I write, I step up the notch on how good it has to be. I did one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time today. Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which I love more dearly than almost any other film... it's not for everyone, but I did my best to sell it, so hopefully you guys will go check it out!!

Another new Bviewer!!  How exciting is that? This time it's Leebee and his first review was Doom.  I also put up a dibs section for all of us to dibs the movies we want to Bview... mine is ever growing, I know!

I plan on updating more than just the one Bview for tonight, but the first one I did was Friday the 13th Part One (1980) by me, TheRiz. I'll keep you updated as I get more done.  Hopefully it'll be a few more...  I put up a new section tonight just for articles I write that are related to the movies I Bview.. the first of which is Zombies Vs. Infected for 28 Days Later, which I watched tonight and will try Bview tomorrow.

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!! I'm going to start our first Bview tradition! Friday the 13th Weekend Horror Fest! That's right, in honor of this great Bview holiday, I'm sitting home all weekend watching Horror films all weekend and posting Bviews for each one! This is the first of many of these events.  Tomorrow I will put together a page for these special events. What does this mean for you? An OVERLOAD of Bviewing going on in the house! Tonight I only got one done (but in my defense I had to work)  I did a film that I really enjoyed Dead and Breakfast, so check it out! And, after helping my Bviewer in training today about how to write a good Bview, I decided to put together a nice guide on how to write a Bview so that anyone else interested might have a quickway to get a feel for how to do things without reading through every Bview I've written ever.

Yet another Bview up! It's Mystery Men that I got super cheap at Cashwise foods, thanks Cashwise!!  Had the day off felt good to get some work on the novel done, too.  It's fun stuff!  I might be having a new Bviewer soon, but I keep saying that, so we'll see, right? ;)

We MIGHT have another Bviewer soon maybe.  I've been trying to talk it up here and there as I mentioned it to people and there are a few people who say they are going to Bview for me, but we'll see if it happens at all.  I've been hastling and once I get my 10th Bview done I'm going to start encouraging others more and more to Bview.  Start getting this site launched!! It's going to be good times, that's for sure! I did another Bview today, one I'd been talking about doing for awhile: Mazes and Monsters.  I hope you all enjoy it! And as always, more to come!! So, I've been slacking lately on the Bviews, but it's ok, cause I've been working on the book hardcore. I did go over to Cody's place tonight and watched Blood and Chocolate. Which was so terrible it got the honor of a Bview and a drinking game.  I really wanted to like this one, too.

Another Bveiw up!! It's been a busy week, sorry I didn't get up one sooner, but I have Unknown for you. Very interesting film! Check out the Bivew and the film for sure!! I got a few movies that I'm REALLY excited about Bviewing in the works, too!!! I got Undead, an Aussie film and Plan 9 from Outer Space the recognized worst film of all time by everyone's favorite bad director Edward D. Wood Jr.. I haven't seen it and am REALLY looking forward to it!!  The next one will be Monsters and Mazes an old Tom Hanks film!! Some exciting movies coming up so stay tuned!!

Wow, this is going to end up being a productive Bview day, cause I think I'm going to try knock off another one later, too.  For now though, I did just put up a new Bview on Galaxy Quest. I have two more that I've watched and have to Bview, so I might get to one/both of those later today.

Wow, I got a bit done last night!  I redid the lay out of the site so that each Bviewer gets their own page, like mine here. Pretty nifty, eh?  I rather thought so.  Talk about making a person feel special. I also set up the About Us/FAQ better so that it really explains what our site is about and what we are looking for as a Bviewer. Watched a couple movies tonight I need to Bview, but that's just not really a priority right now.  With all the gaining interest in the site, this was definitely the priority.

I got a Bview up for Weekend at Bernie's. Also did a starter about page.  Only have my profile up for now, until Lee or Zamn get me theirs. Lee is going to do a Bview sometime this weekend, which means I won't be the only active Bviewer.  I'm hoping to get a small faq up sometime this week.  Maybe an article or two to compliment the Bviews as well.  I know I want to do one on the origin of the slasher but I'm saving that for the original Black Christmas.  I also moved a selection of the movies I want to own into my bedroom for me to see right away what I need to Bview that I own. It's not all of them I want to do by far, but a couple of the ones that I really, really care about getting up here fast. For now I'm going to try get a new Bview up every 2-3 days.

I got up both a Bview and a drinking game for Judement night. Also editted down the Stomp the Yard Bview so it's a little less bulky.  Will hopefully get an "about us" page up tomorrow.  And maybe even a Bview by one of our other Bviewers sometime in the next week or so!!

Hey, all!!! Got some more content up tonight.  In the form of a Bview on Stomp the Yard, which I watched tonight with everyone's favorite movie partner: Cody.

Also, got some particaption for you guys via a Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey drinking game.

I totally need to start hastling my other bviewers into coming up with some Bviews for the site.  Hop to it Lee and ZAMN!!!
